Grub2Win boots native, open source GNU grub version 2.02 code. Everything is contained in a single 13 MB directory on your Windows C: drive. On EFI systems a few small modules (about one half MB total) will be installed to your EFI partition.

It makes an BCD entry to your Windows bootloader, so you can simply boot into your main Windows system or instead to Grub2 after installing this...
However, the only one I miss from grub2win is the nativeness. It seems like grub2win loader mostly loads default args, rather than original-made args of boot. This is due to the different compiling of the GRUB itself...?
But, I recommend this if you want to use GRUB without worrying your main bootloader is being overwritten. Naaah.
